The Story
On searching for cufflinks for their wedding, it became apparent to Alice and Ed Walsh that there was a gap in the market for pieces that were stylish yet weren’t overworked. Instead of treading the same path as all the others, however, the pair sought to create pieces that were unique in both design and production. Tapping into a passion for British craft and industrial processes, Alice Made This uses the manufacturing plants of companies that usually make aerospace, engineering and Formula One parts to create cufflinks that are eye-catching and use cutting-edge techniques. Using a combination of copper, steel and brass, as well as traditional jewellery materials such as silver and gold, Alice Made This creates cufflinks, bracelets and shirt studs that are as much talking points as they are accessories.
