Light Brown Kerouac Suede Balmoral Boots
$ 653- Product Notes
Crafted in the middle of the idyllic Tuscan countryside, these lace-up boots by Barbanera are a durable derby style. Inspired by the peripatetic, hard-living habits of Jack Kerouac, they are made with a sturdy Goodyear welt, and feature a unique straight-cut quarter, 2.5cm heel, backstay and pull-tab for easy wear. The designers extend the laces noticeably lower on the vamp for an authentically vintage look.Â

The Story
Barbanera is the result of two pairs of brothers joining forces to create a thoughtful collection of shoes, hand-crafted in the idyllic Tuscan countryside. Sergio and Sebastiano Guardi, along with Alessandro and Filippo Pagliacci, founded the brand in 2011 with the intention of creating unique shoes with the same techniques used by the oldest and most respected cordwainers. Renowned for its two-tone designs and disregard for traditional styles, Barbanera footwear is for men who are interested in style and culture in equal measures, drawing inspiration from characters in the worlds of jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, blues, painting and writing.
