Favourbrook has long been formalwear’s best-kept secret, enjoying an amazing word-of-mouth reputation for elegant eveningwear, beautifully made. London art graduate Oliver Spencer was selling second-hand clothes on Portobello Road when he got the opportunity to raid the rolls of Stephen Walters’ silk mill in Sudbury. He turned some leftover ecclesiastical fabrics into waistcoats and soon the brand was born. Still devoted to formalwear, Favourbrook’s real forte is making dressing up feel good.
