  • Product Notes

Candle specialists since 1643, Cire Trudon presents their Odalisque 270g candle. In the Ottoman empire, odalisques were slaves who served the wives of the sultan, often depicted nude, prone and languid. Recurring theme in Art History, their sensuality inspired famous painters such as Boucher, Delacroix, Manet and Ingres. Cire Trudon’s wax formula has been perfected over centuries. When correctly taken care of, no wax will be left on the side of the glass and no smoke will leave the candle when burnt, the glass itself hand-crafted in Tuscany and inspired by the shape of champagne buckets. The candle features three scent profiles: a head, heart and base. Head: Lemon, Orange. Heart: Orange blossom. Base: Wilde juniper, Vanilla.
