- Product Notes
Candle specialists since 1643, Cire Trudon presents their Tadine candle, part of their Les Belles Matieres collection, which travels back to the origins of rare perfumes. Cire Trudon’s wax formula has been perfected over centuries. When correctly taken care of, no wax will be left on the side of the glass and no smoke will leave the candle when burnt, the glass itself hand-crafted in Tuscany and inspired by the shape of champagne buckets. The woody candle features three scent profiles: a head, heart and base. Head: Cardamom. Heart: Sandalwood essential oil. Base: Guaiac wood.

Incredibly, Cire Trudon have been candle specialists since 1643, when Claude Trudon became the owner of a boutique on the Rue De Saint-Honoré. The boutique’s luxurious candles caught the eye the court of Louis the 15th, and remained a supplier to the French court for centuries. It is a testament to the brand’s level of unrivalled quality that their success remained untouched by any of the political of industrial revolutions throughout the years, or even by the invention of electricity. In 2007 the company took the name ‘Cire Trudon’, becoming a specialist in perfumed candles and all their products are handmade in their own factory in Normandy, France.
