Candle specialists since 1643, Cire Trudon presents their Solis Rex 270g candle. Louis XIV, called “The Sun King”, was King of France between 1643 and 1715. He made France into a military, political and cultural influence and instigated the construction of the magnificent Palace of Versailles, which became the residence of the kings and their courts starting in 1682. Cire Trudon’s wax formula has been perfected over centuries. When correctly taken care of, no wax will be left on the side of the glass and no smoke will leave the candle when burnt, the glass itself hand-crafted in Tuscany and inspired by the shape of champagne buckets. The candle features three scent profiles: a head, heart and base. Head: Green leaves, Eucalyptus, Orange. Heart: Fir’s bark. Base: Cedar, Incense.
