This jacket exemplifies what Dalcuore does best – sharp tailoring with a relaxed edge. Rendered in a soft flannel wool, the houndstooth pattern, in grey and light blue, is soft yet bold. The single-breasted jacket features notched lapels, two patch pockets, a barchetta breast pocket and horn buttons. Pair with grey flannel wool trousers and whole-cut Oxford shoes for a refined finish.

Luigi Dalcuore turned to tailoring relatively late in life, but made up any lost time through hard work and determination. In 1966, he landed an apprenticeship at Del Duca, where he learned the intricacies of Neapolitan tailoring before further fine-tuning his craft at his aunt's dress shop. After travelling around Europe, he returned to Italy and set up his first business, opening his tailoring house on Via Cervantes, and after several moves, settling at Via F.Caracciolo. Renowned for his original jacket design – a modern saddle shoulder cut in the Victorian style – Luigi quickly became respected among his peers. Rendered in luxurious fabrics, The Rake is proud to present acurated offering from the house.
