The Story
Together with his partner Tenzing Norgay, Edmund Hillary became one of the first people to reach the summit of Mt Everest during their expedition in 1953. Inspired by the famous New Zealand mountaineer, the Edmund Hillary collection was launched by the Hillary family in 2018. The premium lifestyle-clothing label takes their lead from the styles worn by the team during their expedition, and their attention to detail and replication of fabric and construction methods truly keeps the adventurer’s legacy alive. Just like the expedition in 1953, the brand is a collaboration of countries: holding a personality from New Zealand, a British design and the intention of developing capability in Nepal.
