The Story
Edward Sexton is one of the most instrumental designers and cutters in the history of British tailoring. A founding member of Nutter's of Savile Row, Sexton quickly built a reputation for his technically masterful, yet stylistically ground-breaking cutting. Customers would queue around the corner to commission a suit; with Mick and Bianca Jagger, Twiggy, Justin de Villeneuve, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney being but some of his loyal disciples.
Sexton founded his own eponymous firm in 1990, and his continued building his legacy of creative and technical excellence ever since. Sexton's style perfectly balances an exaggerated romanticism with an incomparable understanding of fit and from. No tailor has achieved so much, nor captured such an extraordinary sense of the avant-garde in his work: of sex appeal, glamour, style or verve. His garments are impeccably constructed and perfectly balance tradition and wearability with a sense of dynamism that's often imitated, but still never bettered.
