The Story

When Annie Pettersson's home sewing venture began to rapidly grow in popularity during the Depression, she and her husband David launched Syfabriken Special in 1928, specialising in men's shirts. Twenty years later, after the couple's two sons started travelling in search of new fine fabrics, they passed through and fell in love with the small town of Eton, eventually leading the business to become so well known for the Eton shirt that they changed the brand's name accordingly. Today, Eton continues to make all their shirting in their original factory in Gånghester, Sweden, and use only the highest quality fabrics to result in long-lasting durable items. Having focused their craftsmanship on shirting for over 90 years, the brand now boasts a wealth of experience, ranging from casual to evening wear.
