Passport Red Redcliff Date Watch with Fears Blue Leather Strap

$ 710
  • Product Notes

    The Redcliffe Date watch is the model that relaunched Fears after a six-decade hiatus. Both graceful and purposeful in its functionality, it takes its moniker from the street name of the original Bristol shop. Constructed with a Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement, this rendition features a striking passport red dial and leather strap in an archival shade of Fears blue.

The Story

Fears' watchmaking history goes back 170 years. First opened in 1846 on Redcliff Street, Bristol by Edwin Fear when he was just 22 years old, the company reopened in 2016 and is now helmed by his three times great-grandson Nicholas Bowman Scargill who trained in watchmaking at Rolex. Walking the line between heritage and modernity, the house's elegant and understated vintage-inflected designs preserve its legacy whilst looking ever forward.
