The Story
Since founding his eponymous brand in 1854, Francesco Maglia has passed the craft of umbrella-making to from father to son, along with his name. Today, the 5th generation of the Maglia brothers, Giorgio and Francesco are currently running the company side by side with Francesco the 6th, continuing to produce hand-crafted umbrellas in their Italian workshop, using natural woods such as chestnut, ash, bamboo and cherry for the luxurious handles. Made to last a lifetime, a piece by Francesco Maglia will quickly become a trusted friend, protecting you from the lashing rain and gusty wind without fail.
