- Product Notes
Handmade in England, this offering from George Cleverly is a relaxed alternative to the classic penny or tassel loafer in black or brown. When designing the upper, Glasgow wanted to make sure it was versatile for a myriad of ensembles. This pair, crafted from a shade of bright blue suede inspired by the Riviera and exclusive to The Rake, has a lightweight lining, Goodyear welt, contrast top stitching and gripped white micro rubber soles for comfort and durability.

Founded in 1958 by George Cleverley, the eponymous brand swiftly became shoemaker to some of the most illustrious names in high society, a tradition that continues to this day. Indeed, Rolling Stone Charlie Watts claims to own a pair of every style. The house's signature last – a graceful, mildly elongated shape with the hint of a chisel toe – is both iconic and unmistakable. As well as creating exceptional footwear, the house creates luxury leathergoods, including wallets and credit card holders crafted from 18th century Russian reindeer hide.
