The Story
Founded in 1958 by George Cleverley, the eponymous brand swiftly became shoemaker to some of the most illustrious names in high society, a tradition that continues to this day. Indeed, Rolling Stone Charlie Watts claims to own a pair of every style. The house's signature last - a graceful, mildly elongated shape with the hint of a chisel toe - is both iconic and unmistakable. As well as creating exceptional footwear, the house creates luxury leathergoods, including wallets and credit card holders crafted from 18th century Russian reindeer hide.
