Stamped in Style: Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States with Ralph Lauren
Handpicked for the U.S. Postal Service's first ever collaboration, Ralph Lauren's American Icons stamp collection launches next month, bringing the brand's postmarked elegance right to the nation's doorstep.
For the better part of 60 years, Ralph Lauren has set the template for effortless and classic styling. Embracing the rich diversity of American landscapes, it is a brand that remains singular in its focus on national identity while saluting the cultural contributions of all the peoples who have created the America of today. Ahead of this year's July 4 celebrations, marking 250 years of a nation that continues to be a beacon of hope, Ralph Lauren has collaborated with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to present a special collection of commemorative stamps – many featuring the Star-Spangled Banner and each an "American Icon" in their own right – that embody the best of the America's essence.
"In celebration of America's 250th birthday, it is an honour to have been invited by the U.S. Postal Service to curate this special stamp collection," said Mr Lauren, the first individual and brand to be approached by the agency for a collaboration. "I love America, and these images symbolise the many ideals and aspirations that bind us together. They are icons of our country – authentic, timeless, and passed down through generations – and reflect the dream of a better life that has always inspired me."
