Using the most precious part of an American alligator, the belly cut, this Huitcinq1988 wallet is the very definition of luxury. The Story
Founded in 2014, Huitcinq1988 was born out of a passion for exotic skins and an appreciation of traditional craft. After studying haute couture and accessory design, owner Federico De Peppo started creating bags before specialising in small leather goods, but grew frustrated with the quality other artisans were producing. Taking the task into his own hands, Federico learnt how to make these specific pieces, shunning machines in favour of old tools and methods to achieve precision and uniqueness in every product. Made in Italy, the brand is mainly made-to-order, however, Federico produces two capsule collections each year using hides from animals such as alligator, crocodile and stingray in classic designs.
