Two-Tone Brown Leather Fur-Lined Spitfire BootsCHF 595
- Product Notes
These boots are made not so much for walking, as for flying. Modelled on the boots worn by heroic RAF pilots during the Second World War, they are as durable and functional as you would expect them to be. As well as being supremely comfortable thanks to a warm fur lining on the interior, the boots also have a stylish two-tone design rendered in smooth and soft leather, which features a buckle at the scallop for adjusting. The boots also feature a Goodyear welted rubber sole for maximum toughness.

At its heart, Matthew Cookson is both quintessentially English and invigoratingly international. These two qualities are reflected in its shoes, which are impeccably constructed from the finest materials - as one would expect from a venerable English shoemaker - yet which are also inspired by the places and people that Mr. Cookson encounters on his travels around the world. Now based in Paris and London, it's easy to see how Parisian flair is married to English refinement in the form of the brand's renowned range of slippers, a pair of which is a must-own for anyone who can appreciate the elision of old techniques and new ideas.
