Mo Coppoletta London Industrial Print Spread Collar Denim Shirt
$ 230Not in stock
- Product Notes
Renowned tattoo artist Mo Coppoletta worked with shirtmaker Turnbull & Asser to create this printed denim shirt, which is exclusive to The Rake. Inspired by industrialism in the Victorian era, the design has been translated onto two-fold 120s yarn – which is more supple than your average denim – using a laser etch for an ultra-defined finish. The fabric has then been cut into an informal slim-fit shirt, with T&A's signature collar and three-button cuff.

The Story
Turnbull & Asser’s renown as one of the best shirtmakers in the world was affirmed in 1980, when Prince Charles issued the British company with a Royal Warrant, one of the first companies he granted with the esteemed title. But T&A’s storied history begins much earlier, in 1885, when John Turnbull and Ernest Asser opened the first store in St James’s in London, supplying gentleman who frequented the area with smart shirts. In 1903, the famed shirtmaker moved to Jermyn St, where it still resides today, selling a range of suits, knitwear, ties, outerwear and, of course, bespoke and ready-to-wear shirts, which are all made in Britain, to ensure quality remains of the highest standard. While heritage and knowledge of the craft have helped maintain the brand’s reputation, inventiveness has seen T&A morph from a traditional shirtmaker into a boundary-pushing contemporary brand.
