  • Product Notes

In 2017, Rolex unveiled the 50th anniversary Sea-Dweller to celebrate the model being the choice of professional divers for half a century. Originally released in 1967, the Seadweller was a true tool watch that was developed for commercial divers. In reality, for all but the commercial divers, a Submariner is more than adequate for most needs. So who, other than professional saturation divers, really needs a watch that can be used at depths of 1220 meters or 4000 feet? Well, nobody actually but its very cool to know that it can! The reference 126600 was the first Sea-Dweller to have a cyclops on the crystal, which up until 2017 had not been possible due to the massive depth rating of the watch. Another cool touch was the red line oftext on the dial, a nod to the earliest watches.
