Santillo 1970

White Ciambello Twill Cotton Shirt

  • Product Notes

Worn by Italian actor Christian de Sica in the play Il Principe Abusivo, this cotton poplin shirt by Santillo 1970 is ideal for wearing with a blazer. Hand-cut and hand-sewn in Italy, this piece has a slightly larger wing tip collar, with concealed front buttons and double cuffs. The main point of difference, however, is in the armhole, which is restitched after the sides have been sewn to achieve softness and strength at the most vulnerable part of the shirt. To top if off, the Australian mother of pearl buttons are sewn on by hand.
