Shackleton London shares its name with one of a trio of great explorers from the ‘Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration’, Sir Ernest Shackleton. The label delivers expedition-grade apparel for your next adventure, all proudly handmade in Britain. The use of insulative down and coyote fur supplies the jackets with a natural warmth that would be completely unobtainable with synthetic materials, and the results have been tried and tested in Antarctica to temperatures of minus 20 centigrade and beyond. In the current crisis of fast, unsustainable fashion, it is a solace to know that all of Shackleton’s materials have been ethically sourced, goose down being a by-product of the food industry, and can be traced back through the entire supply chain.
