Alexander Kraft Donates a Two-Night Stay at La Maison Bleue for the Covid-19 Solidarity Auction
Alexander Kraft is the CEO and owner of Sotheby’s realty France and Monaco, a former Rake of the Year, and founder of eponymous clothing brand, Alexander Kraft Monte Carlo. He has offered a two-night stay at his charming bed and breakfast in Provence, La Maison Bleue, along with a plethora of Negronis and good cheer with him and his faithful canine companion, Bertie.

The winner of this lot will have his experience featured in a story for The Rake (if they wish).
Mr Kraft commented: “In these unprecedented times, I think a lot of us have felt rather similar: We all had the urge to somehow contribute to the relief effort but felt rather helpless and overwhelmed, not knowing in which way to assist best.
So when my friend Wei Koh contacted me in the middle of the night with the idea of a charity auction that would reunite special objects and experiences from many of our common friends around the globe, I was instantly sold on the idea:
And as I think that in this era of quarantine and social distance the most missed, and thus most sought after, commodity is travel and an authentic human interaction, I decided to offer a weekend for two at my Provençal boutique luxury B&B “La Maison Bleue”, and throw in an evening of Negronis with Bertie and myself for good measure.
I hope that the thought of balmy Provençal evenings spent under the olive trees of the charming terrace on the village square, with fresh croissants and coffees in the morning and Negronis and cigars in the evening, and 2 nights in a small but cozy and luxuriously appointed residence, will give mental strength and inspiration for the challenging times to come.”
