Alps & Meters at The Alpina Gstaad
The Rake chose the bucolic setting of the Alpina Gstaad in Switzerland to shoot the new collection of luxury alpine outerwear from Boston-based brand, Alps & Meters.
Despite only being founded in 2014, Boston-based skiwear label Alps & Meters creates clothing reminiscent of the alpine style of old. The label's vintage aesthetic allows their pieces to perfectly transition from the slopes - where they are technically excellent - to the chalet or hotel where they are the height of alpine style. Whilst respecting the great heritage of alpine sports, Alps & Meters manages to incorporate modern fabric technologies, ensuring water resistance, warmth, breathability and improved flexibility. The products have all the luxuriousness of natural fibres cut in an understated palette, guaranteeing wear after wear.
