Editor's Picks: Cyber Monday
Cyber Monday is upon us and whilst there are numerous ways to spend your money, allow The Rake to present you with the finest deals on our atelier.

A relatively new phenomenon, Cyber Monday is an annual online shopping ‘event’ – a dystopian idea if there ever was one. But there are deals to be had. Here are The Rake’s top picks…
Eveningwear
The festive season = parties. Parties = dressing up. You’ll likely get more ‘black tie’ invites in the month of December than at any other time of year, so having a go-to ensemble you can rely on is handy. This Black Watch dinner jacket by Chester Barrie is a great starting point, and is the perfect wearable statement piece, that’ll have you standing out for all the right reasons. A simple white, semi-spread collar shirt will suffice and you’ll actually be able to wear it for non-formal occasions (unlike the traditionally ‘correct’ hidden placket evening shirt). Pair with a black or midnight blue bow tie and patent whole-cuts, like this exemplary pair by Sutor Mantellassi.
All Business
A navy blazer is by far the most versatile piece of tailoring one can own. This one is cut by Rubinacci in its signature Neapolitan style, featuring spalla camica (shirt-sleeve) shoulders, broad notch lapels, a three-roll-two button stance, a barchetta (boat-shaped) breast pocket, pignata patch pockets, and minimal structure throughout. It’s currently at 20% off, making it even more enticing. Spice things up further with a blue-and-white twill, striped shirt and a printed silk pocket square – this one with hand-rolled edges by Calabrese 1924.
Luxury Sportswear
Sportswear doesn’t have to be sloppy. Whilst it might not have the same performance-focussed qualities as poly-blend tracksuits or even Merino wool sweatshirts, this pure cashmere funnel neck sweater will keep you (at least) looking cool on a run. It’s unparalleled comfort makes it ideal for wearing around the house, too. For the sporting rake, pair with these cotton fleece jogging bottoms and – for ultimate comfort – some Emma Willis linen boxer shorts.
