The Sacred Triangle | Katie Eary

The Rake concludes on Katie Eary’s homage to David Bowie for her Autumn/Winter ’16 from London Collections: Men.

For the first time, Eary has taken a more subtle direction with her famed prints. Her curiousity in bizarre creatures continues however, featuring a print of fish with human eyes. Eary has transformed her vision into something more sophisticated, reeling in the glossy vibrant tones of previous seasons and replacing them with a rich more refined palette.

An exciting collection, mainly focusing on luxe silk print lounge wear, inspired by the likes of Lou Reed, David Bowie and Iggy Pop. Her mix of women's with menswear explains her fascination with these icons romantic relationships. Eary has taken the traditional men's silk prints such as polka dots and stripes, and adapted them into more feminine, striking prints.
