Introducing The Bell & Ross Bellytanker Chronographs. Timepieces inspired by our favourite aperitifs are the perfect harbingers of a return to more convivial times.
If you look at the name Bell & Ross, the central motif is the ampersand. This is derived from the ligature for the Latin word et, which expresses a partnership between equals. It means that together, we are stronger. And it was very much in this spirit that these vibrant-coloured Bellytanker Chronograph watches were create.
In terms of colour, the watches are inspired by some of the most iconic cocktails — Negroni, Spritz, Espresso Martini, Vesper Martini — and what they symbolise in term of good cheer, celebration and friendship. Also, these beautiful vivid hues with the sunray motif on the dials that are treated to have an almost liquid effect are power totems of positivity and optimism.
Designing an original sports chronograph that avoids replicating iconic models like the Rolex Daytona or Omega Speedmaster is no easy task. The Bell & Ross Bellytanker, discovered in 2017, stood out with its genuinely original design featuring oversized Arabic indexes, long baton markers, a stepped dial, thick crown guards, and screw-down pushers. The 41mm size perfectly complements the well-executed elements, creating an impressive timepiece.
