- Product Notes
The MilSub range was born when the British Ministry of Defence commissioned Tudor to manufacture a range of watches that would meet the army's strict and exacting standards. This included a robust caseback, sturdy lug bars, a thicker winding crown, and a distinctive dial design for ease of use. This particularly rare model was issued to the Royal Canadian Navy - hence its moniker, the 'RCN Tudor MilSub'. Watches issued for professional use are perennial favourites among collectors; especially when it comes to the Submariner. This Tudor Sub could tell many stories from its life on the wrist of Canadian Navy divers. This watch is in very good condition. The case remains strong throughout with some evidence of the original case bevels. The lug holes are still sharp and the engravings on the caseback are sharp. The dial is in perfect condition and the hour markers and hands have taken on a gentle, matching patina. The luminous pip is missing from the bezel. Our pictures are an important part of the condition report - please scrutinise them in detail. For any questions, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Founded in 1926 as a personal project of Hans Wilsdorf, the enterprising founder of legendary Swiss watchmaking brand, Rolex, Tudor's mission has been to provide watches with the same level of craftsmanship, quality and reliability as Rolex, but at a more accessible price point. This synthesis of affordability and Wilsdorf's uncompromising approach to excellent design has proven to be extremely popular among professions where military-grade precision and durability is required; Tudor watches are worn by professional divers and U.S. Navy Seals. It has also allowed the brand to be more innovative in terms of style. This adventurous spirit finds expression not only in Tudor's current range of watches, which boldly reimagines their iconic range of classics, but also in the names that feature in the brand's Born To Dare campaign, which counts David Beckham and Lady Gaga among its supporters.
