Mother of Pearl Collar Stays
$ 155- Product Notes
A crumpled collar ruins a perfectly good shirt - it's therefore imperative that you invest in the right equipment to keep things shipshape. The Story
Turnbull & Asser's renown as one of the best shirtmakers in the world was affirmed in 1982, when Prince Charles issued the British company with a Royal Warrant, one of the first companies he granted with the esteemed title. But T&A's storied history begins much earlier, in 1885, when John Turnbull and Ernest Asser opened the first store in St James's in London, supplying gentleman who frequented the area with smart shirts. In 1903, the famed shirtmaker moved to Jermyn St, where it still resides today, selling a range of suits, knitwear, ties, outerwear and, of course, bespoke and ready-to-wear shirts, which are all made in Britain, to ensure quality remains of the highest standard. While heritage and knowledge of the craft have helped maintain the brand's reputation, inventiveness has seen T&A morph from a traditional shirtmaker into a boundary-pushing contemporary brand.
