Beautiful things done well is at the heart of Milan-based brand Valstar, which has over 100 years of production under its belt. Founded in 1911, it was first renowned for producing raincoats but soon became famous for another type of outerwear: the flight or A1 jacket. Dubbed the Valstarino, this took the style worn by pilots in World War II, but added a soft twist, crafting jackets from supple suede to allow for functional movement. As with all of Valstar’s creations, only the finest materials are used, which are then hand-cut and stitched in Italy to ensure a remarkable fit.
