These British Military Longines W.W.W. “Dirty Dozen” wristwatches were ordered by allied forces during World War II and delivered just after the war in 1945.
Twelves brands were commissioned to make watches to the military specification with Longines known to have produced the highest quality watch mainly due to its shock-resisting movement.
The watch bears the British Military arrow on the dial and also on the case-back alongside the issue markings.
Overall this watch has remained in excellent original condition and is one of the best examples you will find.
