Some of the earliest and most iconic garments don't need to be tweaked and changed, so perfect and considered are the original designs. Aero Leather is one such company dedicated to preserving this sartorial history, taking tried-and-true ideas and modernising them instead through innovations in technology and fabric. Founded in 1975 by Ken and Lydia Calder, the brand originally started out trading authentic pieces from WWII and in 1983 began creating its own garments in tribute to those original styles. The brand still sources full-grain Italian horsehide, goatskin and steerhide leather, as well as rich Chromoexcel, which artisans cut and stitch from start to finish in Scotland. The end results are motorcycle, flight and workwear jackets designed to withstand and develop character over the years.
