    Piacenza Cashmere

Fratelli Piacenza treats the preparation of its raw materials with as much care as the final garment. The Italian brand strives to exist in complete harmony with the environment, while also keeping innovation and tradition at the forefront of design. Environmental impact was of great concern for the founders – so much so that Giovanni Piacenza, who managed the company between 1845-1911, built the firm's first hydraulic turbine, which was then followed by its first hydroelectric power station in 1898. To further the brand's dedication to lessening its carbon footprint, a purification plant was built in 1996 to clean all the water used in the make process. This dedication demonstrated by Fratelli Piacenza has made the brand's wool mills a benchmark for Made in Italy products at an international level.
