A celebrities-studded charity initiative is set to make a significant impact this December, as Pop-Up Crisis returns to raise funds for Crisis UK, the national homelessness charity. The one-week pop-up shop hosted by The Pollen Estate at 28 Old Burlington Street in Mayfair will feature donated items from some of Britain's most recognisable celebrities and top-tier fashion brands.
Founded in 2018, Pop-Up Crisis has already raised an impressive £500,000 to support those experiencing homelessness. This year's event promises to continue that legacy, with high-profile supporters including supermodels Kate Moss and David Gandy, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, actors Daniel Craig, Minnie Driver and Colin Firth, music artist Jessie Ware, and radio broadcaster and TV host Clara Amfo donating personal wardrobe items.
The shop will offer a curated selection of designer clothing, including items from luxury brands like Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Tod's, Barbour, Mr Porter, Sunspel, and Anderson & Sheppard. Watches of Switzerland Group has also donated 100 watches to support the cause.
Running from December 9th to 14th, the pop-up will feature daily DJ sets by Jonjo Jury and Bestley, adding a vibrant atmosphere to the charitable event. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for selected top items.
Crisis continues to play a crucial role in supporting those facing homelessness, particularly during the challenging winter months. This Christmas, the charity will provide support to over 6,000 people through various services, including temporary housing, day centers, and comprehensive support programs aimed at helping individuals rebuild their lives.
The event was originally conceived by Anda Rowland, director of Anderson & Sheppard, and menswear stylist Tom Stubbs, with the goal of creating a meaningful way to support those most vulnerable in society.
Visitors can stop by 28 Old Burlington Street between 11 am and 7 pm throughout the week to support this vital cause, shop designer pieces, and contribute to Crisis's mission of ending homelessness.
