- Product Notes
British menswear haberdasher Drake's has collaborated exclusively with The Rake on a capsule collection inspired by New York. Drawing on the preppy attire worn by students of the city's elite schools, this single-breasted jacket is rendered in a vibrant blue cotton corduroy with a moderate wale, which can be worn both casually and into the evening. The cut itself is inspired by Neapolitan tailoring, with soft shoulders, a three-roll-two fastening and a slightly nipped waist, while the front patch pockets, tortoiseshell buttons and inside ticket pocket add considered detail. Each jacket takes 10 hours to make, including 180 production steps and eight internal quality checks. Pair with the matching corduroy trousers for a truly rakish look.

Founded in London in 1977 and still making some of the finest ties, scarves and pocket squares, Drake’s is one of the last remaining artisanal haberdashers in the world. Now helmed by Michael Hill, who worked alongside original owner Michael Drake for over a decade, this British establishment continues to champion local craft, producing most of its pieces in the United Kingdom, and has even extended its offering to include shirts, knitwear, tailoring and footwear.
