Shopping for a cause: Pop-Up Crisis at Savile Row
Pop-Up Crisis will return this December 4th-14th, 2023. The Christmas charity fundraiser will be hosted at the decommissioned police station, West End Central, on Savile Row.
Returning to the prestigious Savile Row for its fourth consecutive year, the Pop-Up Crisis event welcomes visitors from December 4th to 14th. This year's edition showcases a remarkable selection of unique designer pieces in womenswear and menswear, as well as a variety of gifts and accessories, all in aid of Crisis, the essential national charity aiding those experiencing homelessness throughout Great Britain.
Anda Rowland of the famed Savile Row tailors, Anderson and Sheppard, together with acclaimed British fashion editor Tom Stubbs and supported by Georgina Evans, Crisis' Head of Retail, have meticulously curated an array of new designer items, previous season's collections, and unique sample pieces. The impressive collection, generously contributed by prestigious brands like Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, and Jimmy Choo, reflects a strong commitment to the cause.
The charity fundraiser is hosted by Henigman in the historic West End Central police station at 27 Savile Row. The event is not just a shopping experience but a full festive occasion, including exclusive events like 'Shop their wardrobe', featuring items donated by celebrities such as David Gandy, Kate Moss and Stormzy, and creative workshops led by The Glasshouse, a social enterprise offering horticultural training to women in UK prisons. The event will culminate with a late night shopping evening with drinks and music, and an exciting raffle featuring some of the most coveted donated items.
Crisis, through this initiative, addresses the critical issue of homelessness, which affects nearly a quarter of a million households in England. The organization offers comprehensive support, including education, training, and assistance in housing, employment, and health, aiming to guide people towards a life beyond homelessness.
To contribute to this cause, donations are welcomed and can be made directly to Paula Floyd at Crisis or by contacting the Pop-Up Crisis team (firstname.lastname@example.org) for additional ways to support, including sponsorships and volunteering.
