Roman Holiday: Brioni Unveils the 2026 Riviera Capsule Collection
One of Rome's finest exports translates well to nautical environments.
The romance of Rome endures every lick of heat or frost, but with the Med a mere 15 miles from the city’s perimeter, the call of the sea is sometimes too strong to resist. Especially when the clothes are this appealing.
Inspired by Italy’s unbeatable coastline, Brioni’s Riviera Capsule Collection 2026 is a sartorial journey through the season, trading more structured garments for lightweight materials – including linen, cotton, silk and cashmere in sandy, granite white and coral tones – that express a relaxed yet defined elegance.

The collection includes the blush-coloured Jardigan jacket, crafted from a refined wool, linen and silk blend, and the semi-deconstructed Plume blazer in complementary pink and blue pastels. For those delicate, salt-flecked breezes once the sun begins to dip, the new, lighter version of Brioni’s seasonal knitwear is a welcome addition.

Resisting tropes of lazy summer dressing, the Capsule Collection offers an array of unlined shirt jackets, coordinated polo shirts, open-weave knitwear, and pleated or draw-string waist trousers and Bermuda shorts, offering elevated yet relaxed silhouettes that are most certainly Rake-approved.
