Cromford Leather Company

As a testament to Cromford Leather Company’s expertise, some of England’s leading fashion names – Margaret Howell, Mulberry and Holland & Holland, to name a few – entrust the company with their leatherwork. Founded in 1971 by Savile Row graduate Alan Sprooles and Peter Goodall, it operated as The General Leather Company for 45 years, carving a name for itself as a champion of British manufacturing, crafting read-to-wear and bespoke pieces. In 2016, under the helm of Pauline Harris, the company was renamed in homage to the birthplace of Britain’s industrial revolution; Cromford, Derbyshire.
