On the subject of women's footwear, the iconic nonagenarian Iris Apfel once proclaimed that "If your hair is done properly and you’re wearing good shoes, you can get away with anything." While us guys might not be bound by the same adage, a dob of pomade and a cracking pair of shoes will invariably improve whatever situation one finds oneself in.
