Ahmed “Shary” Rahman is a former Rake of the Year, and one of the world’s foremost authorities on watches, style, cigars and travel. He has kindly donated these two amazing cigar cases as is his tradition with each of The Rake’s charity auctions in the past. Shary said: “Covid has completely changed the world as we know it. It’s impact has been far more devastating than anyone had ever imagined. We have taken many steps to try and counter these far reaching effects of Covid by altering our supply chain to manufacture PPE products as well as medicinal cures.... therefore every little helps and a tiny effort makes a massive difference! And therefore, when my dear friend Wei Koh mentioned that he is starting the Revolution x The Rake Covid 19 Solidarity Auction, I knew that I had to be part of it to try and make a little difference....”
